EAT REAL food, sprint regularly and lift heavy shit is the key to healthy living, some fitness experts say.

I eat nutrient rich food without additives, whenever possible. I avoid processed and artificially sweetened food products, generally the canned and packaged items found in the centre isles of the supermarket.

What I eat:
  • whole eggs, egg whites
  • fish - smoked & fresh salmon, tinned tuna in water, shell fish, other
  • meat & poultry (fatty & lean cuts)
  • cottage cheese
  • goats cheese, grass fed cheddar
  • unsweetened Greek yogart
  • protein bars - home made
  • nuts - almonds, walnuts, brazils
  • oatmeal (gluten free)
  • quinoa (gluten free)
  • fruit - banana, apple, berries and other low glycemic fruits
  • some dried fruit
  • spinach & other green leafy vegetables
  • vegetables - sweet potatoes, other
  • coconut oil, olive oil, avocado oil, flax seed oil
  • cinnamon & nutmeg
  • dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
What I drink:
  • coffee with coconut oil, butter & cinnamon
  • green tea with lemon and ginger
  • almond milk
  • coconut milk
  • coconut water
  • filtered water
  • juiced fruit & veg mix - home made
  • kefir
What I avoid (as much as possible):
  • processed sugar products
  • grain products
  • breakfast cereals
  • bread and pastries, all white flour produce
  • pasteurized cows milk
  • sweets and crisps
  • fast food
  • all types soda, sports drinks and fruit juices
  • alcohol (apart from the occasional social beer)
... and no, I'm not a monk, I do eat the occasional cheat meal. I love pizza and ice cream,
